Maintaining your Clear Shot

Properly maintained, your Clear Shot will clean your optics and maintain your eyewear for many adventures to come.

There are some basic things to understand about cleaning optics. Keeping these simple guidelines in mind will keep your optics clean and scratch free while using Clear Shot.

The Clear Shot Case

The case is made from durable injection molded ABS plastic. The rubber caps create a water-resistant seal and along with the bands, cushion the Clear Shot should it fall.

Should your Clear Shot case get dirty, simply rinse it off and wipe dry with a towel.

Microfiber Cloths:

The microfiber cloths included with your Clear Shot are safe for all optical surfaces. Unlike cotton cloths that push dirt around (like a broom), microfiber cloths remove the dirt from the optical surface. Because of this, it is important to keep your cloths clean and to avoid using dirty cloths on your optics, since this can cause damage.

We recommend machine washing your cloths regularly (separately from cotton items, as the microfiber will pick up lint from cotton items in the same wash) and drying them in the dryer.
